Description
This photo was taken by Creem Magazine's Charlie Auringer in the mid 70s and printed in a limited edition by him about 20 years ago. It is marked on the back #8 out of 14.The photo has been in the original cellophane plastic since it was printed. The photo is an 8" x 10" printed on Epson Photographic paper and surrounded by an 11" x 14" black matte, ready for framing. It is stickered on the back of the cello and the back of the print by Charlie Auringer.
The original cello will be included but the photo will be placed into a fresh plastic sleeve...I did not want to chance the old stickem glue getting on the photo.
See my other items for several other Creem photos by Auringer I am selling this week....I will combine shipping if you win more than 1 for US buyers.
Charlie Auringer
Michigan country boy moved to Detroit in 1964 and after seeing the Beatles and Bob Dylan took photography classes at Wayne State. Hanging out at the local record store/head shop he met some artist and writers with whom he started CREEM in 1969. CREEM Magazine went national in 1971 and he photographed David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, Kiss, Alice Cooper and others while working with rock writers Dave Marsh and Lester Bangs.
