    Description

    Pair Antique LE Smith No 500 Clear Square Sleek Glass Candlesticks c1921-1941
    Measure 6" tall and 3" square across the base. Both show the lovely light apple green florescence that hints at the method and date of manufacture. One is perfect, the other shows two tiny flea bites. One photographed well, the other did not. You can see them in photos #7 & 8. Oddly enough the one on the base is slightly worse than it looks, while the one on the stem is not nearly as bad as IT looks. I didn't even notice it until I was editing the photos!
    They have a beautiful sleek, slightly art deco feel to them.

Antique/vintage glass may have air bubbles, heat checks, ash residue or shearing/straw marks from the manufacturing process. These are not considered defects. True chips or cracks will be disclosed.
    I do not oil my glass. I try to use white light or daylight for all photos. Photos that have been altered in any way other than brightness, contrast, or cropping will be also be disclosed.
