Most powder jar collectors do not have an example of this jar in their collections. There were quite a few different shapes of powder jars that incorporated the Lillian finial (top of the jar) into their design. This one is the hardest to find. It was sold as a powder jar, but is large enough to be used as a candy or a soap holder for guest soaps in your bathroom. This stunning jar was made by the L.E. Smith company. Our jar is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The enameled finish (also rarely found) has a few minor flecks missing but is in great condition for this style of decoration.
